How Many Districts of West Bengal: West Bengal is an Indian state in the eastern part of India. The state of West Bengal was established on 01st November 1956. The largest city of West Bengal is Kolkata, which is the capital of the state. The total area of the state (West Bengal) is 88,752 km² including 83,626.43 km² rural area and 5,125.57 km² urban area. The main languages of West Bengal are Bengali, English, Nepali. As per 2012 stats, there are 23 Districts of West Bengal.
As per 2011, West Bengal has a population of 9,12,76,115 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,90,93,002 while rural population is 6,21,83,113. There are about 2,03,80,315 houses in the state, including 65,67,150 urban houses and 1,38,13,165 rural houses. According to Aadhaar statistics, the population of West Bengal in 2021/2022 is 97,694,960 (97.69 million) as compared to the last census of 2011.
