  • Applicant must be belong to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category of the society.
  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
  • Annual family income of the candidate must be less than Rs. 8 lakh per annum.
  • The candidate or his family shall not own agricultural land of area 5 acres or more.

  • Visit the official site i.e https://services.india.gov.in/.
  • Now download the EWS Certificate Application form.
  • Fill in the application form with your details.
  • Next attach relevant documents in support of your Income Proof.
  • You also have to attach Domicile Certificate with the form.
  • Submit the form to your nearest Seva Kendra or District Administration Office.
  • After 10-20 days of submission, your Application is approved and you are allowed to collect your Certificate.

How to Apply Online EWS Certificate?

In order to fill the EWS Certificate Online,  you need to follow these steps below –

  • Visit the open district administration Portal or State Administration Portal.
  • Next go to the certificate section and choose EWS Certificate option.
  • Register by using your mobile number and proceed further.
  • Now upload all the required documents with your self-attestation.
  • Finally Submit your Form and wait for the administration to approve it. 
  • Once it approved, you can download the EWS Certificate.
