1. Direct-Entry MSN:-

A Direct Entry Master of Science in Nursing degree is for the students who are from non-nursing field and have no nursing experience. Through this program students can pursue their career as a registered nurse (RN) or advanced practice nurse (APRN). APRN are nurses who have earned their master’s degree. APRN includes nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, nurse anesthetists, and clinical nurse specialists.

2. BSN-MSN:-

This is the most traditional way to earn your master’s degree after completing a bachelor’s degree program (BSN) in nursing. To go with this program, you must first have a bachelor’s degree in nursing. The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program takes two years to complete. The Master of Science in Nursing coursework may include training to become a nurse practitioner or general MSN without other advanced practice roles or additional licenses.

3. RN-MSN:-

There are programs called RN-MSN, which helps nurses who do not have any bachelor’s degree in nursing or other fields. With this program, you can pursue Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) without having to earn a bachelor’s degree first. Depending on which track you want to follow, all MSN programs cover general nursing topics, such as anatomy and pharmacology, with a variety of nursing specialization coursework.

4. ADN-to-MSN

This program is similar to RN-to-BSN program. In this program applicants have a two-year nursing degree. ADN to MSN programs are an options for the nurses with an ADN who want to pursue their MSN.

5. RN-to-MSN

The program enables registered nurses who already have an associate’s degree to pursue postgraduate certification without pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) degree. The main aim of this program is to provide a clear path from registered nurse to advanced practice registered nurse, allowing graduates to follow accelerated nurse practitioner programs.
