WB Paddy Procurement Farmer Registration 2022: The Government of West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has launched a new scheme “West Bengal Kharif Paddy Procurement Scheme” to help all the farmers. Under this scheme, government will provide free rice to about 100 million people in the state of West Bengal till next June. Of the estimated 72 lakh paddy farmers in West Bengal, about 13 lakh have so far registered themselves for the scheme.
The new West Bengal Kharif Paddy Procurement Plan aims to procure paddy to maintain uninterrupted supply of paddy for our public distribution system. About WB Paddy Procurement Farmer Scheme
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has launched a new scheme called “West Bengal Kharif Paddy Procurement Scheme” or পশ্চিমবঙ্গ খরিফ ধান সংগ্রহ প্রকল্প. The main aims of the scheme is to help all the farmers of West Bengal. Under this scheme, government will provide free rice to about 10 crore people in the state of West Bengal till next June. Of the estimated 72 lakh paddy farmers in West Bengal, about 13 lakh have so far registered themselves for the scheme. A lot of farmers will be enrolling themselves under the scheme to get the benefit of a minimum price.
Benefits Of The Scheme
- Under this scheme, government will be providing free rice to approximately 10 crore people in the West Bengal State.
- Government will also purchase about 45 quintals of paddy from each farmer.
- West Bengal Kharif Paddy Procurement Plan aims to procure paddy to maintain uninterrupted supply of paddy for our public distribution system.
- About 72 lakh paddy farmers will be registered in the WB Kharif paddy procurement scheme.
- Farmers will be getting a ceiling price on their paddys and their rice.
