West Bengal OASIS Scholarship 2022: The West Bengal Tribal Development Department and Arrears Welfare Department have launched “OASIS Scholarship” for SC, ST and OBC students to pursue their higher studies. The scholarship is mainly available for the students of West Bengal. Students pursuing pre-matric (9th and 10th class) and post-matric (UG, PG and Diploma) are eligible to apply for OASIS Scholarship.
The main aim of the Uttoran Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the poor eligible and meritorious students who belong to economically weaker section of society. Through this scholarship, students can complete their senior secondary education and higher studies in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Diploma, PTTI, Nursing, BEd & MEd, BVSc and LLB courses.

About West Bengal OASIS Scholarship

West Bengal OASIS Scholarship: Eligibility
- Applicants must be a citizens of West Bengal.
- Applicants must be belong to SC, ST and OBC category.
- For the pre-matric scholarship, the student must belong to either the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes department and are studying in 9th or 10th class.
- For the Post Matric Scholarship, the student must belong to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and are studying in Post Secondary or Matriculation.
- Applicant’s should have scored 50% marks in the previous final examination.
- Applicant’s annual family income should not be more than Rs. 2 lakh per annum.
- Scholarships will be given to only 2 applicants from the same family or blood relationship.
- Students from schools located in West Bengal are eligible for the scholarship.
