What is the Lok Sabha: The Parliament of India consists of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and the President of India. The Lok Sabha is the lower house of Parliament and is called the popular chamber of the Indian Parliament. Under the 1950 Constitution, its members are directly elected for five-year terms by the states’ regional constituencies.
